OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid an insurance indemnity in the amount of 6 513 299.08 rubles to the Crimea Canning Plant Industrial Company LLC that suffered from inundation in the Krasnodar Territory at night from July 6 to July 7, 2012.

The real estate of the Crimea Canning Plant was insured by Ingosstrakh Insurance Company against fire, damage by water, burglary and robbery, improper activity of third persons and other risks. As a result of inundation on July 6-7, the whole territory of the plant, including administrative buildings and production premises, was completely flooded. The water level in some areas reached two meters. After water went down, the plant territory was covered by 2-5 cm thick layer of silt. The foundation in one of the buildings subsided and the window frames fell off. Damage was done to sewerage systems of the buildings which were badly polluted by silt. The systems will need full cleaning to restore their functioning. The whole territory of the plant needs to be cleaned from silt and garbage, the floor and walls of the premises will have to be dried, and repairs will be needed as well.

An expert organization, LEBB LLC , was attracted to determine the amount of damage and calculate the sum of damage. The case was acknowledged as insurance case, and Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid insurance indemnity to the enterprise in accordance with agreement conditions within the shortest terms possible.
