OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid approximately 3.2 m rubles in connection with a harvester’s burning to Zagadka peasant farm enterprise located in Dyusmetyevo village of Ponomarevsky Region Orenburg District.

Grain harvester KZS-812-16 was insured at Ingosstrakh Insurance Company by a voluntary insurance agreement for movable equipment. On May 9, 2012, an inflammation took place resulting in total burning out of the grain harvester.

Independent expert organizations were involved to determine the origin of fire and extent of damage. According to the expert statement, the fire resulted from inflammation of insulation due to emergency operation mode of the harvester’s electrical equipment. The fire was seated in the inner compartment of the engine room.

The accident was recognized insurable, and Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid the indemnity according to the agreement. The damage was settled within the shortest possible period of time (less than within 3 months), because the policy holder promptly submitted all necessary documents accurately following the provisions of the concluded agreement.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has been collaborating with the Zagadka peasant farm enterprise in agro-industrial insurance since 2011. Over this period, agricultural equipment, machinery, real estate and commodity stocks have been insured.
