On the instruction of the RF Government MegaFon has rolled out a network for the Special Federal Confidential Cellular Communication System (SFCCCS) on the Russkiy Island and in the Knevichi airport -Artem — Vladivostok section. Higher requirements are set for the radio coverage and capacity of this network. To ensure a proper quality of SFCCCS operation MegaFon built nearly 40 communication sites in the area from Artem to Vladivostok.

"Last year on instruction of the RF Government MegaFon successfully performed the function of a coordinator of the project for provision of mobile services along the Amur motorway. Our company is a telecommunication partner of Universiade 2013 in Kazan and Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi. A month ago in Yakutia, the V International Games "Children of Asia" were held where MegaFon provided a full range of telecommunication services. Participation of our company in all such projects is not simply a socially responsible contribution to completion of the objectives that are important to the country, but also an incentive for creating a technological base for implementing innovative communications solutions".
