OREANDA-NEWS. August 28, 2012. Ural Airlines launch a new service for passengers travelling to Germany. Starting 22 August, with the purchase of an Ural Airlines ticket from Russia to Munich or Cologne you can use the service of a free ride on a Deutsche Bahn train.

To use this service, you need to choose the tariff that includes railway transportation when you purchase the ticket in a ticket office. Your itinerary/receipt will contain a special code (‘tix code' or ‘pick-up number'). This code must be entered in one of Deutsche Bahn ticket vending machines, of which there are nearly 3,500 in Germany, and receive a printed railway ticket. You can make the trip to any city in Germany on the day of your arrival in Germany or on the next day. The service is valid for travelling within Germany only; it does not entitle you to travelling to other European countries.

It is noteworthy that Deutsche Bahn is Germany's key railway operator. The design of the company's trains is state-of-the-art, and a comfortable journey is guaranteed. Deutsche Bahn is the fastest and most convenient way to travel within Germany.

May we remind you that Ural Airlines offer flights to Cologne with a connection in Moscow from many Russian cities: Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk, Chita, Krasnodar, Ekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, and Irkutsk. In April 2013, a direct Saint Petersburg - Cologne flight will be launched. In addition thereto, starting December you can always use Ural Airlines' Ekaterinburg - Munich flight for which the Deutsche Bahn train ride service is also available.
