OREANDA-NEWS. August 28, 2012. State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ and the Government of the Tyumen region signed an Agreement on cooperation in implementing investment projects.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Agreement was signed by Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and on behalf of the Tyumen region Government - by the region’s Governor Vladimir Yakushev.
 
This Agreement aims to establish strategic partnership and promote long-term and effective cooperation in implementing investment projects.

The parties intend to cooperate in developing proposals for funding investment projects implemented among other things on the terms of public private partnership as well as work out mechanisms for their implementation, cooperate in preparing projects conclusions and participate in providing financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises. The parties give high priority to projects aimed at forming oil and gasochemical cluster and developing manufacturing sectors, transport, engineering and social infrastructure of the Tyumen region as well as at the region’s comprehensive development.

This Agreement’s implementation would help to address top-priority objectives of the region’s socio-economic development and enhance its economic and industrial potential.

In 2011, the British Global Trade Review Magazine awarded the Best Deal of the Year 2010 award to State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’. The Magazine rated highly Vnesheconombank’s efforts to arrange financing for Russia’s modern largest propylene integrated plant construction project in the city of Tobolsk.
