OREANDA-NEWS. August 29, 2012. Liberty Bank Joint-Stock Company has started using the BLIZKO money transfer system for its customers to make transfers in Russian rubles, in addition to transfers in U.S. dollars and euro that it has handled for some time already, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

Customers of the BLIZKO system’s partner bank can now send and receive money in any of the three currencies, without having to convert the money as an additional service.

At present, Liberty Bank JSC operates 146 service outlets of the BLIZKO system open at its offices.

“In our estimates, the BLIZKO system has more than a 6% share of the money transfer market between Russia and CIS countries, and we keep up vigorous expansion in this area,” said Andrei Laikov, CEO of the BLIZKO system.
