OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2012. Japan Tobacco International (JTI) has launched Camel Black & White King Size Superslim cigarettes at Minsk-based Tabal-Invest Company, JTI said in a press-released.

The new cigarette brand was launched in late July, featuring Camel Black (6-0.5 milligram per cigarette) and Camel White (4 – 0.4 milligram per cigarette).

JTI contributed to the launch of new cigarette brands at the Belarusian tobacco mill by facilitating an equipment upgrade project at Tabak-Invest.

A new product of the King Size Superslim variety will add to the JTI’s lineup on the Belarusian market, which currently includes the Monte Carlo Evolution brand (launched June 2012), Winston XSence (June 2012), Monte Carlo, MILD SEVEN and Magna.

Tabak-Invest in July 2012 produced over 60 million King Size Superslim cigarettes on a licence agreement with JTI.

Japan Tobacco International is a subsidiary of Japan Tobacco Inc., the world’s third-largest global tobacco company with a global share of 11%. Belarus’ two cigarette makers LLC Tabak-Invest and OJSC Grodno Tobacco Factory Neman produce Winston, Monte Carlo, Camel, Magna, and Mild Seven JTI brands. JTI accounts for around 30% of the Belarusian market JTI has been operating on the Belarusian market since 1998.
