OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2012. Belarus’ OJSC Olivaria, a brewery based in the city of Minsk, produced 5.064 million decaliters of beer in January-July 2012, a decrease of 0.3% on the year, a representative in Belgospischeprom concern told reporters.

In July alone the company produced 677,000 decalitres of beer, down 20.1% on the year.

Beer offering in plastic bottles rose 1% to 3.843 million decaliters, in glass bottles decreased 14.2% to 875,000 decaliters, and in kegs increased 6.7% to 222,000 decaliters. Beer offering in cans reached 124,000 decaliters (up three times).

Olivaria beer sales on the domestic market decreased 9.6% on the year in January-July 2012 to 4.828 million decaliters.

The brewery exported 202,100 decaliters of beer in January-July 2012, up 125%.

Olivaria was founded in 1864 and transformed into a joint stock company in 1994. Olivaria became part of Carlsberg A/S in May 2008.
