OREANDA-NEWS. September 03, 2012. A share of components of the unobservable economy in GDP of Moldova made up 24.1% in Q1, 2012, 1.8 p.p. up as compared with the same period of 2011.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in Q1, 2011, it equalled to 22.3%. NBS experts note that the growth became possible due to a larger formal sector and a bigger amounts of products produced by households for own final consumption.

They grew from 10.6% and 5.5% respectively in January -March, 2011 to 12.3% and 6.3% in Q1, 2012.
