OREANDA-NEWS. September 3, 2012. Belarusians’ real disposable incomes [adjusted for inflation, minus taxes and duties] grew 7.9% on the year in January-June 2012, the National Statistics Committee said in a press release.

According to a preliminary report, individual incomes rose 110% on the year in January-June 2012 to 135.5 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br), which is equivalent to USD 16.3 billion at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus.

Incomes per capita amounted to 2,387,000 rubles (USD 286.6) in January-June 2012, which makes 3.1 times the size of the subsistence budget.

The per capita subsistence budget stood at 760,030 rubles (USD 91.3) in fixed prices.

Wages account for 65.1% of individual incomes in Jan-June 2012, down from 65.3% a year ago.

Social transfers – pensions, allowances and study grants – accounted for 20.3%, on par with the H1 2011 level, and incomes from entrepreneurial activities and other income-gaining activities for 10%, down from 11.4%, and incomes from property – yield on deposit and dividends – up 4.6%, up from 3%.
