OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2012. NOMOS Bank ("the Bank" or "Nomos") announces that, in accordance with the views of the Supervisory Board, it will submit documents to the Central Bank of Russian Federation for the preliminary approval of the nomination of Vadim Belyaev as President of Nomos Bank, reported the press-centre of Nomos Bank.

This nomination is provisional and entirely subject to the implementation of the previously announced transaction in which Otkritie Financial Corporation ("Otkritie") intends to purchase 100% of the shares of Nomos over the next two years.

Nomos believes that should the implementation of the transaction go ahead, the Bank will need an extended management structure to reflect the larger Group since, in addition to implementing the Bank's strategy, management will also be required to coordinate the businesses of Nomos and another participants of Otkritie, as well as achieving synergies between them.

Within this context, the current senior management of Nomos, under the leadership of Dimitry Sokolov as Chief Executive, will focus on ensuring that the business operations continue to run smoothly.

The task of coordinating the cooperation of Nomos and Otkritie will be conducted by the General Director of Otkritie, Vadim Belyaev, who will take over the position of President of Nomos.
