In the beginning of the year, the process target improvement labor competition was deeply pushed by Baosteel each unit like iron making, steel making, hot rolling, cold rolling, etc. in technique, quality, operation, management, and equipment as main index with four aspects: horizontal target, longitudinal improvement, over process cooperation and management. Each relevant unit detailed the item implement plan to ensure the process target improvement labor competition gain the actual effect.

Iron making unit summarized the cost target working experience and analyzed the production process short plate to push the target competition developing effectively by management and technique supporting item in the main competition item in blast furnace longevity maintain, fuel consumption reduction, complementary energy recycling improvement. Among 23 items of the target improvement, 7 were superior to the best in history. 1580 production line index rate reached 100%,1780 production line fuel consumption and roller consumption, 1880 production line, etc continued to lower than the average of lat year in six months. 2050?1580?1880 etc availability all broke through 98.5%.

Hot rolling process compared and analyzed generally on product profitability, processing cost, main consumption and economy technique index, targeting the best in history as aim to put forward 3% to 5% competition goal. Cold rolling plant, cold rolling plant in Meishan steel, Baori automobile board, etc communicated on target improvement item to implement matrix pushing mode. In the first half of the year, cold rolling plant overcame excessive kinds of specification order, the increase of high difficulty products and tried to satisfy customers’ needs. In the latter half of the year, each constant in Baosteel will continue to enhance target competition to excavate the potential in each production line and enhance process cooperation with manufacture improvement, ensuring the realization of annual competition aim.
