OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2012. The Corporate and Investment Business (CIB) of Sberbank and Troika Dialog, Russia’s largest universal banking group, is delighted to announce its London Russia investment conference – “Russia: The Inside Track” – taking place on Monday and Tuesday this week.

Over the course of the conference, a number of large Russian companies with a combined market capitalisation of over USD 400bn will have the opportunity to interact with institutional investors, through a series of one-on-one meetings and informal networking events. The event will also incorporate presentations from keynote speakers such as Arkady Dvorkovich, Deputy Prime Minister to Dmitry Medvedev and Christof Ruehl, Chief Economist at BP PLC.

Alexander Bazarov, Member of the Management Board, Vice President of Sberbank of Russia, Director of the Department of Corporate Clients, Co-head of CIB said: “This event showcases both our deep relationships with Russia’s largest companies and our access to the decision-makers investing in Russia. In a challenging global environment it’s even more important for investors to be able to interact with companies in a one-on-one setting to understand what they’re investing in. Alongside our established Russia Forum we anticipate this to be the first in a series of overseas events as we facilitate meaningful dialogue between global investors and the best of Russia-CIS corporates.”

Companies presenting to investors at the conference range in market capitalization from approximately USD 120bn to USD 500m and are drawn from a wide-range of sectors such as Oil and Gas, Metals and Mining, Consumer/Retail, Transport, Utilities and Financials. These sectors are represented by 35 companies from Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
