OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2012. Azerbaijani national energy producer Azerenerji OJSC increased generating power in August 2012 by 5.88% versus July.

The Azerenerji’s press service, citing the Central Dispatcher Control Office, reported that it was generated 1.8 bn kWh of electricity in August versus 1.7 bn kWh in July, 1.6 bn kWh in June, 1.5 bn kWh in May, 1.6 bn kWh in April, 2.2 kWh in March, 2.1 kWh in February, 2.2 bn kWh in January and 2.1 bn Kwh in December 2011 (best indicator in 2011). In 2010 highest generation was registered in January (1.9 bn kWh) and repeated in November.

“In August 2012 it was generated 1.6 bn of kWh of power at thermal electric power stations and 200 million at hydroelectric power stations," Azerenerji informed.

In December 2011 generation made 1.9 bn and 200 million kWh respectively and in January 2012 - 2 bn kWh and 200 million kWh, in March 2 bn kWh and 200 million kWh, 1.3 bn and 300 million kWh in April, in May 1.3 bn kWh and 200 million kWh, in June 1.4 bn kWh and 200 million kWh, and 1.5 bn kWh and 200 million kWh respectively.

"In 2012 it has been already produced 14.6 bn Kwh , including 13 bn kWh at thermal electric power stations and 1.6 bn Kwh at hydroelectric power stations," it was reported.

In 2011 generation was 20 bn kWh, including 17.3 bn kWh at TEPS and 2.7 bn at HEPS.

In 2010 it was generated 18.4 bn of kWh of power. Data on thermal and hydroelectric power stations was not published.

In 2009 power generation made up 18.6 bn kWh (including 16.3 bn kWh at thermal power stations and 2.3 bn kWh at hydroelectric power stations) and in 2008 - 21.2 bn kWh (including 19 bn kWh and 2.2 bn kWh respectively).
