Neil Cooper, Bankruptcy Administrator of BAB Bankas Snoras (in bankruptcy) was interested to read recent press articles which compare the nature of his work and salary to that of Arunas Siksta, the General Director of TEO LT, reported the press-centre of BAB Bankas Snoras.

Mr. Cooper has been involved in assignments in over 30 countries and is considered one of the world's leading experts in cross-border insolvency. He has undertaken cases worldwide and has been involved with the development of insolvency laws and systems in a large number of transition and developing countries. He was heavily involved in the formulation of the United Nations Commission for International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Model Law on cross-border insolvency and has assisted the World Bank developing global insolvency principles and guidelines.

In addition to this, Mr. Cooper is also Life President of INSOL Europe and in 2003 was presented with the INSOL Scroll of Honour for services to international insolvency. He has reviewed the extensiveness and effectiveness of the insolvency laws of 30 transition economies of Eastern Europe for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the insolvency laws of 11 Middle Eastern and North African countries for the World Bank. He is currently engaged in the development of out of court debt restructuring guidelines and of the insolvency professions in a number of countries.

Mr. Cooper has a wide range of experience from a number of complex and international appointments and has given expert evidence on a number of insolvency related matters in the UK and overseas. He is therefore well placed to manage the highly complex and international bankruptcy of BAB Bankas Snoras.
