OREANDA-NEWS. September 11, 2012. The Group’s sales in August decreased by 0.5% compared to the same period last year. Mainly, this is due to 6.6% decline in the printing services segment. Revenue in print remained at the previous year level, the decline is due to fewer clients who with printing buy also paper through Printall. In the online media segment, the strong growth continues in Latvia and Lithuania. In Estonia, the result remained at the previous year level. As a whole, the online media segment increased by 12.3% compared to the same period last year. The periodicals segment continued at the same pace as last month and increased the sales by 7.3% compared to the same period in 2011. Again, the growth was mainly supported by successful sales of the DVD series. The good result in August was also supported by newspapers being published five times in August compared to four publications in August last year. This summer, the magazine market has been stalling both in Estonia and Lithuania.
