Fujitsu, a leading provider of business, information technology, and communications solutions, is pleased to announce that senior members of its research and development team will present their work at the European Conference on Optical Communications (ECOC), offering insight into the technical innovations enabling 400G and 1Tb optical communications. The conference, taking place September 16-20 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, is one of the most prestigious gatherings of leading optical transport researchers and technologies from around the world. With more than USD2 Billion allocated annually to research and development, Fujitsu supports the optical communications industry with key research and technologies vital to next generation carrier networks.


Led by Fujitsu Laboratories in Japan, China, and the US, researchers will make multiple presentations spanning five key areas: High Speed DSP Compensation Techniques, Advanced Modulation, Flexible Modulation, High Speed Optical Components, and Next Generation Optical Network Architectures. The presentations represent years of study and experimentation.
