OREANDA-NEWS. September 14, 2012.  Within the scope of the 12th International Business Forum on the Don and celebration of the 75th anniversary of formation of the Rostov Region, the Bank of Moscow has signed an Agreement on Co-operation with the Government of the Rostov Region.

ON behalf of the Rostov Region, Government, the Agreement was signed by Governor of the Rostov Region Vasiliy Golubev and, on behalf of the Bank of Moscow, by President and Chairman of the Management Board Mikhail Kuzovlev.

The Agreement determines the principles for collaboration between the parties on a number of key issues relating to implementation of the programmes for socio-economic development of the Region. The main areas for co-operation include implementation of national programmes, investment projects, support for innovative development of the industrial complex, modernisation of Rostov Region enterprises, development of crediting of municipalities, medium and small businesses, and so on.

"We are not only consolidating our presence in the area of the capital but also actively developing co-operation with Russian regions of key importance for us", commented Mikhail Kuzovlev, President and Chairman of the Management Board of the Bank of Moscow. "The signing of the agreement with the Rostov Region Administration opens up new prospects for joint work and will allow us to offer the Region a chance to take advantage of our experience of financing large-scale projects for modernising urban utility systems".
