OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2012. Tata Interactive Systems (TIS), a pioneer and global leader in learning solutions, will organise the second edition of Tata Interactive Learning Forum (TLF) Arabia on September 20, 2012. The venue for the day-long conference is Park Hyatt Dubai.

Globally, TLF is in its ninth edition, and remains a by-invitation-only event, making it the most prestigious e-learning conference in the world. TLF events have been held in the US, UK, Australia, Middle East and India.

The theme for TLF Arabia 2012 is 'Looking Beyond Traditional Learning'.

"It is important to look beyond the traditional and the obvious. Leadership must gear up to embrace what is non-traditional, yet more impactful. At the TLF Arabia 2012, we look forward to exploring this idea in the areas of learning and training. We will be sharing best practices in areas like mobile learning, collaborative learning, leadership development and managing the learning function as a business”, says Snehnath Neendoor, vice president, Middle East, TIS.

He adds, "TLF for the past eight years has held a powerful resonance in the learning and development (L&D) space. Every year the forum attempts to bring together thought leaders in training, HR and business functions to push the boundaries of the L&D space. TIS has completed 10 years in the Middle East. We are proud of what we have accomplished and at the same time recognize that we have a long way to go.”

The event venue, Park Hyatt Dubai, is a luxury waterfront retreat adjacent to the world-famous Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club. The 5-star hotel is home to an inspired assortment of restaurants and lounges, including the award-winning French brasserie Traiteur, The Thai Kitchen, Cafe Arabesque, The Terrace and The Lobby Lounge.
