According to the press service of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technologies, incomes from sales of services of mobile communication, fixed telephony, Internet and data transmission, broadcasting and retransmission of audiovisual programs amounted to 1 bln. 468,71 mln. leisi n Q2, 2012 .

In particular, Q2 was characterized by a growth in incomes from data transmission, fixed Internet and mobile communication. The incomes from data transmission made up 193.46 mln. leis, 12,3% up as compared with Q2, 2011 and 3.3% as compared with Q1, 2012. The incomes form fixed Internet made up 921 mln. leis, 2.02% up as compared with the same period of 2011 and 12.3% as compared with Q1, 2012.

At the same time, the incomes from sales of fixed communication services made 390.4 mln. leis in Q2, 2012, 5.09% down as compared with Q2, 2011 and 1.5% up as compared with Q1, 2012. The incomes for broadcasting and retransmission services were 78.3 mln. leis in Q2, 2012, 2.4% up as compared with Q1 2012.
