OREANDA-NEWS. September 20, 2012. According to bank rankings for July 1, 2012, Uniastrum has Russia’s 27th biggest network of own-brand ATMs. As of that date, the lender had 514 terminals, 119 of them in Moscow, placing it 21st by total number of ATMs in the capital. Uniastrum ranks 26th countrywide by financial services kiosks, with 90 FSK deployed throughout Russia, reported the press-centre of Uniastrum.

One of the first banks to hook up to the United Settlement System (USS), since 2008 Uniastrum has enabled its customers to use the ATMs of other USS partners on easy terms. Today USS unites around 100 banks, while the number of ATMs making up the system currently stands at over 20,000.

“Over the past year we have been heavily focused on optimizing and upgrading our ATM network, which involved slightly downsizing the number of in-house terminals, and moving those placed inconveniently for customers to better locations,” says Susanna Usunyan, Head of Uniastrum’s Retail Products Division and member of the Management Board. “This has enhanced the efficiency of our own-brand network and enabled us to meet the ATM and payment kiosk needs of most of our clients, as is evidenced once again by our RBC ranking”.
