OREANDA-NEWS. September 20, 2012. Such a resolution was adopted at the closed sitting of councillors on Monday. Merging the two heating stations and Termocom is stipulated by the resolution adopted by the government about corporative, institutional and financial restructuring of the system of centralized heating supply in the municipality of Chisinau.

Stocks of the new enterprise are to be held by the government, p[resented by the Ministry of Economy, and by the City Hall of Chisinau, Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar voiced. Amounts of the shares have not been decided on year. Earlier, it was supposed that the government of Moldova the two heating stations are subordinated to would hold two third of the stocks and the rest would be transmitted to the City Hall which manages Termocom.

Valeriu Lazar stressed the importance of merging assets of the three enterprises and creating a new one in order to ensure attraction of new investments, adoption of new technologies in production, transportation, distribution and supply of heat as well as to find a solution for the problem of arrearage of Termocom. According to him, tear and wear of Termocom's equipment have amounted to 80%.

As a result losses in its networks exceed 22%. This leads to a higher production cost and high prices for heat for final consumers 50% of which can not to pay to heat in full. Merging the three enterprises will allow creating a viable enterprise with the fixed capital of over 1 bln. leis, and to attract serious investments to modernize facilities . According to the Minister, reorganizing the enterprises will help to reduce prices for heat due to less losses and heaper cost of production even in case if the purchasing gas price remains the same.

Earlier, the Economy minister declared that after assessing their market value, gas pipelines, built for public money, could be included in the fixed capital of the new enterprise. In future, by transmitting the gas pipelines on books of Moldovagaz , which is expected to be able then to sink the arrearage of 1,5 bln. leis by heating and energy enterprises of Moldova for Russian gas . Valeriu Lazar reminded the gas pipelines had been given to Moldovagaz in management but do not belong to this company.
