OREANDA-NEWS. September 21, 2012. Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has instructed the Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services to consider housing issue, efficient operation of the programs designed to boost the pace of construction. The Head of the Government said that during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"We passed a law on urban activities, we have simplified procedures for starting construction, putting in operation of housing and reduced time of registration of land and a lot more, but it is not affected on the volume of construction. The question is: they do not work, or there are problems on the fields"- Asked the Prime Minister, expressing dissatisfaction with the pace of construction in some areas.

Mykola Azarov said that only in the form of subventions for socio-economic development, through the Fund for Regional Development the Government has transferred to the region nearly 2 billion UAH - 1.4 times more than last year.

PM instructed Anatoly Blyznyuk "to analyze the situation and at the next meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to report." He added that if we need any regulatory changes, the government will definitely take an appropriate decision.
