OREANDA-NEWS. September 21, 2012. Specialists of the Holding's subsidiary OJSC Sosnovoborelektromontazh manufactured specialized poles with hinge mechanisms which allow the upper part of the lighting pole to be lowed to horizontal position.

The structures consist of two main sections: a foundation and the tube, connected with a hinge providing 3-direction rake of the pole. On the top of the post the brackets are mounted providing the opportunity to mount lights and CCTV cameras.

Pre-production preparation included development of the structure manufacturing design by the assembly and engineering department of SEM JSC. The parts were manufactured at a TruLaser 1030-laser complex. The items are protected using galvanization and anti-corrosive coating.

Currently, the lighting poles are being installed at the industrial sites of Konstantinov St. Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute and Leningrad NPP-2.

Specialists from OJSC Sosnovoborelektromontazh have carried out the full complex of electric installation works within the frameworks of construction of the first phase of South-Western CHP. A contract for performance of electric installation work at the gas-turbine station of Novy Urengoy Gas and Chemical Complex was made.

The construction of PIK reactor started in 1978. In 2008, the general contract for completion of reactor construction was transferred to TITAN-2 Holding, and by the end of 2009, the holding’s specialists had completed all the works related to the first start-up complex in time and passed the facility on to the institute personnel for its further on preparation for physical start. Currently, the further on reconstruction works are being carried out at the facility.
