OREANDA-NEWS. September 26, 2012. Launch of a deep and comprehensive free trade area with the European Union is one of the main priorities of the foreign policy of Ukraine.

This was stated by the First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovskyi during a meeting with the EU Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht, held on September 24, 2012 in Brussels.

Special attention at the meeting was devoted to the prospects of signing the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, which will open up the possibility of the introduction of the provisions regarding the FTA.

The parties also discussed the investment climate in Ukraine, in particular in the context of the beginning of the business dialogue between Ukraine and the EU.
