OREANDA-NEWS. September 26, 2012. As of July 1, 2012 Uniastrum’s credit card receivables totaled Rb 3.75 bn.

In H112 Uniastrum Bank distributed 37,522 cards, or 19% more year-on-year. 7,489 of the new issues came with overdraft facilities. As of July 1, 2012 the Bank had 332,128 cards in circulation, 52,355 of which have overdraft facilities.

This month Uniastrum debuted 5 new card options: Standard, Corporative, Trusted Partner, Exclusive, and Express. Even more convenient and easy to use, the new cards offer all the benefits associated with the Uniastrum card logo – an interest-free period of up to 55 days, comfortable monthly minimum payment instalments, and cardholders earn up to 5.5% interest (depending on card type) on positive credit balances,. Cardholders also have access to Uniastrum’s extensive network of ATMs and payment kiosks. As of July 1, 2012, Uniastrum placed among Russia’s Top-30 banks by number of private-label self-service terminals, according to RBC rating agency.

“Our credit card portfolio continues to expand at a solid pace and we remain committed to developing this segment by offering new products and refining our credit card service solutions,” says Egor Shkerin, head of Uniastrum’s Network Sales and Business Development Division. “By the end of the year we aim to boost our credit card portfolio 15-20%.”
