OREANDA-NEWS. September 26, 2012. Making the International SWIFT-transfers from Ukraine via Internet is much easier and more profitable. As reported in PrivatBank, since September tariffs on such payments via Privat24 were cut down twice and now make up 0.5% of the transfer amount (plus USD12 SWIFT commission).

Using SWIFT payments Ukrainians can transfer money to relatives and friends, as well as pay for goods and services abroad. Both legal entities and individuals can use SWIFT-transfers. The feature of this system is that the transfer can be sent on customer's account at almost any bank in the world.

“An average client`s SWIFT-transfer amount in PrivatBank is UAH4,000,” said Alexander Vityaz, the PrivatBank Deputy Chairman. “So, in case client will make a SWIFT transfer in Privat24, not at the outlet, he/she will save not only time, but also on average UAH20."

To make a SWIFT-transfer via Privat24 one needs to specify the recipient data, code of his/her bank and payment details. Payments from Ukraine are made in euros and U.S. dollars. During one business day Ukrainians can transfer UAH 15 thousand, depending on the exchange rate.

Privat24 is the most popular online banking system in Ukraine and one of the largest in Eastern Europe. Today it is available to individuals and corporate customers in Ukraine, Russia, Latvia, Georgia and in some EU countries. Total number of Privat24 clients is 3.7 million, daily more than 175,000 transactions are processed in the system.

SWIFT is an international interbank system of transferring money. Transferring money by SWIFT to almost any country in the world is quick and safe.
