OREANDA-NEWS. September 26, 2012.  Ryanair Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer, Michael Cawley (right) and Ken O'Toole, Chief Commercial Officer for the Manchester Airports Group, at Ryanair’s new ‘pop-up shop’ in Piccadilly, Manchester.

Ryanair, Europe’s only ultra-low cost airline, today (25 Sep) opened its first ever ‘pop-up shop’ in the heart of Manchester, bringing its low fares to the high street and offering customers a lowest price guarantee. If any customer finds a cheaper flight to/from Manchester, Ryanair will pay back double the difference (terms and conditions apply).

Ryanair’s new pop-up shop, located at Unit C, 111 Piccadilly, will be open for a four-week period, where customers can browse Ryanair’s lowest fares online in store, book flights on Ryanair.com and talk to dedicated Ryanair staff, while one lucky customer will win a dream holiday every day.

To celebrate the opening of Ryanair’s first ever pop-up shop, Ryanair is launching a seat sale with thousands of seats at prices starting from just Ј12 for travel across Europe on Mon, Tues, Wed and Thur in October and November, which are available for booking until midnight Thur (27 Sep).

In Manchester, Ryanair’s Michael Cawley said:

“Ryanair has long pioneered customer innovations and through our latest promotion, we will bring our ultra-low fare seats right to the heart of Manchester, with the opening of our first pop-up shop, giving high street customers the chance to see our lowest fares for themselves.

If any passenger finds a cheaper flight to/from Manchester during the four weeks the store is open, we will refund double the difference – we won’t be beaten on price – while we’ll also be giving away a return flight for two, every day, to amazing European destinations, including Budapest, Dublin, Faro, Oslo and Riga.

Since launching our Manchester base in November 2011, Ryanair has carried over 1.7m passengers to/from Manchester Airport, connecting the North West to 30 destinations across Europe, and sustaining over 1,700* “on site” jobs at Manchester Airport.

To celebrate the opening of our first ever pop-up shop, we are launching a seat sale with thousands of seats at prices starting from just Ј12 for travel across Europe in October and November, which are available for booking until midnight Thursday (27 Sep). Seats we will be snapped up fast, so we urge passengers to book on www.ryanair.com today.”
