OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2012. The Casting and Rolling Complex (CRC, Vyksynsky district, Nizhny Novgorod region, belongs to the United Metallurgical Company, CJSC OMK) has confirmed the compliance of its quality management system and rolled metal products with the requirements of European Union Directives 97/23/EU, 89/106/EU and the AD 2000 Merkblatt rules. Its new certificate will be valid until September 2015.

During the complex’s recertification audit, specialists from the international company TUV Rheinland Group noted its high level of production development and modernization. The auditors studied the rolled metal product manufacturing process, the production planning process, the technical documentation preparation process and personnel training process. Certification testing was successfully performed on rolled metal product samples during the audit.

“The Casting and Rolling Complex first received a certificate of compliance with European Directives in 2009. Its successful recertification is confirmation of the fact that products manufactured by the complex comply with all EU requirements,” CRC’s Director Oleg Fedotov said. “The availability of this certificate allows the company to widen sales markets for its rolled metal products and gives it the right to supply its products to the EU.”
