OREANDA-NEWS. October 5, 2012. In Berlin during an international exhibition of railway technology "InnoTrans 2012" between JSC "NC "KTZ" and" GE " an agreement on the transfer of technology for the production of passenger locomotives known as TEP33A was signed.

In production of the locomotive will be used the best achievements that are received by truck. The new locomotive will be unified as a maximum with truck analog which is now in operation. This is, first and foremost, for the power plant and the upper part of the structure of the components of the locomotive: compartments, cabins and others.
 
The main changes are intended to meet the requirements for certification of engines, also there will be additional devices to facilitate the operator's work, given that KTZ is considering use of passenger cars. 
 
Currently, there is an order for 110 units of these cars by JSC "Locomotive", a subsidiary of JSC "NC "KTZ ".
 
Export potential of the new product is the entire territory of space 1520.
