OREANDA-NEWS. October 10, 2012. Carrying food fairs in the major cities of Ukraine provides price stability for food. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this during a telephone hotline of the Komsomolskaya Pravda in Ukraine newspaper.

Head of the Government said that for the first 9 months of this year on the capital's fairs were sold 70 thousand tons of food: "In Kyiv was sold 70 thousand tons of food. On average 20 kg of food - meat, vegetables, etc are fallen for each kievan among of 3.5 million residents. These products were purchased at fairs, where prices are lower than in supermarkets and shops"- Mykola Azarov said.

The PM noted that the fairs are a good tool to ensure price stability in the products. He added that the fairs had motivated major retailers to reduce prices for such products.
