OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2012. Alexei Tsion, the operator of Busyrus No.1 excavator, achieved a record breaking rate in operating the excavator having loaded 42,593 m3 of overburden during his shift. On the whole, in September the excavator's crew reached the topmost overburden loading rate amounting to 2,005,000 m3. Thus, the crew broke their world record for similar class machines set earlier this year, in July.

There is a whole series of remarkable records - ranked at both All-Russian, and global levels - standing to the team's credit!" stressed SUEK CEO Vladimir Rashevsky in his congratulatory address to the mine's employees.

Busyrus 495HD No.1 equipped with a 41.3 m3 bucket was put into operation in January 2010. It was purchased under the long-term investment program launched by SUEK to reequip the existing machinery and ramp up the production capacity. The machine was entrusted to highly-skilled and profoundly competent operators.
