OREANDA-NEWS. October 15, 2012. Ostankino Estate Museum in Moscow will be restored in the extended territory before the end of 2015, said the head of the Department of Cultural Heritage of the capital Oleksandr Kibovsky.

"Today we officially begin full range of restoration work on the object. Be restored not only the palace, but the park. Moreover, the park will be restored in that form in which it was" - said Kibovsky reporters.

According to him, the restoration of the city's budget provided 2.5 billion rubles.

"We get to work really early, but the final design is expected to end in six years. This task - to make a half years Versailles - and this is no less. This is an extremely difficult task, but a very honorable," - said the head of Mosgornaslediya.

The director of the Museum-Estate Ostankino Gennady Vdovin said that Ostankino Estate - one of the few in Europe XVIII century monuments in a unique state of preservation.

The estate will be extended to the west side, where previously there were auxiliary buildings - greenhouse, gardener outbuilding, stables and a coffee lodge.
