OREANDA-NEWS. October 16, 2012. “Aura Wellness Center” of the “Excelsior Hotel Baku” opened its doors after major renovation that took 2 months. Natalya Solovyova, General Manager of The “Excelsior”, speaking at the ceremony, gave information about the innovations introduced and changes made in the “Aura Wellness Centre”, reported the press-centre of AtaBank.

Much time has passed from the moment of opening of the hotel and “Aura” she said, and due to extremely high interest to the sports’ complex, it needed repair. To improve the quality of service and to be up to the market, the owners decided to fully renew “Aura” and reequip it with new machines, renovate saunas and changing rooms.

Natalya Solovyova noted that the total area of “Aura Wellness Center”  is 3,500 sq m where up to 200 guests can exercise simultaneously. There are about 50 units of brand new simulators to train all types of muscles and cardio line to strengthen the heart and lose weight. Cardio machines are equipped with displays where more than 30 TV channels are available along with the possibility to connect to the Internet free of charge.

The following services are also available for the members of “Aura” and hotel guests – table tennis, open air tennis court, Thai therapists’ treatment, relaxation rooms as well as indoor pool (25*17) and 2 outdoor pools that are available during hot summer days. Group and individual aerobics, callanetics, pillates and yoga lessons are now held in a new room located on the third floor of the complex. Aura’s professional team of trainers will help every guest to create an individual fitness program, besides that will be happy to teach children and adults swimming.

All guests and members are provided with towels, slippers, bathrobes, shampoos and cosmetics. Variety of massages are available in spa rooms.
