OREANDA-NEWS. October 16, 2012. PJSC Stroytransgaz and FGC UES (Federal Grid Company of United Energy System) signed the General Contract for the construction of Tataurovo-Goryachinskaya-Barguzin 220 kV double-circuit high-voltage line with 220kV Goryachinskaya Substation, 220kV Barguzin Substation and the upgrading of 220kV switchgear at 220kV Tataurovo Substation. The Employer for the project works is JSC CECM (Center for Engineering and Construction Management) of United Energy System – CECM Siberia.

 The construction facilities are located in Pribaikalsky District, the Republic of Buryatia. 220 kV HV line route 132.3 km long starts at the existing substation (the Tataurovo Substation) in Staroe Tataurovo village  - and ends in the designed substation (the Goryachinskaya Substation) in Goryachinsk village.

 The project is to be completed in October 2013 within a very tight schedule. The works Stroytransgaz will perform include the procurement with all the necessary equipment and materials, enlargement of the existing Tataurovo Substation to two compartments, construction of the new 220kV Tataurovo-Goryachinskaya HV line, and construction of the new Goryachinskaya Substation.

 PJSC Stroytransgaz is one of FGC UES’s major contractors. The works in power and nuclear energy, power grid construction, including the construction of UES facilities of ultra-high voltage class provided 64% of the company's revenue in 2011.
