OREANDA-NEWS. October 25, 2012. Ukraine supports any possibilities of resuming cooperation with the IMF. That was stated by the First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovskyi in interview to the Bloomberg international information agency.

"Restoring cooperation is our goal of work because it affects the investment climate. We hope we to be able to agree on the continuation of existing programs for 2013," the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine stressed.

He also stressed that the government objectives - the ability to agree with IMF to continue existing programs and unblocking credit. "For the economy, it's correctly to deal without loans, but while still having access to a credit resource," added Mr. Khoroshkovskyi.

Answering a question on droop of industrial outputs in 2012, the First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine declared: "We feel at ourselves worsening foreign economic situation, including from our European partners. But this is also its advantage – we're working over the development of the internal market. "

"We have a clear plan of action. I'm confident that by the end of the year we'll be able to keep a slight increase (within 1 percent). We'll try to do so that from an economic point of view the fourth quarter of 2012 has become a good base for 2013," added Valeriy Khoroshkovskyi.
