OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2012. Citizens of Moldova to be provided with open access to cadastre data for ensuring transparency of the real estate market. According to the press service of the government, this direction was signed by Premier of Moldova Vladimir Filat, who charged state enterprise Cadastre, the E-Governance Centre, the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction and the State Office to ensure the open access of public at large to cadastre information.

The information of the cadastre is expected to be available free of charge. In future this service is to be integrated into portal www.servicii.gov.md. The information will be available about histories of owners of real estate registered in Cadastru, and prices for purchases and sales of real estate and land lots.

 These measures are aimed at preventing corruption, fraud and speculations, ensuring market transparency, fair competition and consumer rights protection in the real estate market. Besides, these measures fit in with the goals of the government to enhance transparency in state institutions through implementation of the E-governance project for good of people and business. IN line with the direction of the Premier, these measures must be implemented and come in force till February, 1, 2013.
