OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2012. Flights operated by "Transaero" airlines in the winter season from Vnukovo airport will supplement with new destinations.

Within the framework of increase of domestic flights from Vnukovo airport "Transaero" airlines start to operate daily flight to Yekaterinburg from the beginning of the winter season. Changes will also occur in flights from the CIS countries. For the first time the airline will operate scheduled flights to Kazakhstan from Vnukovo. Moreover, in the schedule there will be flights to Astana on Friday and to Almaty on Saturday.

Airline will start operating daily one flight to London also from Vnukovo. In addition to that, "Transaero" offers to its passengers the opportunity to purchase tickets for code-share flights with Virgin Atlantic Airlines from Moscow to Boston, Orlando, Los Angeles and San Francisco. These flights will be operated with a change in the British capital. Besides, the airline will serve a daily flight to Pardubice and one flight per week to Barcelona.

For the convenience of passengers who prefer outdoor activities, "Transaero" has extended the list of free baggage sports equipment on all its flights. Now in addition to the equipment for skiing, surfing and golf; passengers can also carry equipment for diving free of charge.

Passengers can purchase tickets for scheduled flights of "Transaero" to all destinations at the airline offices, at airline agents, on company's website, and, for the first time, only this winter on the page of official group of "Transaero" in the social network Facebook.

"Transaero" airlines are strategic partner for Vnukovo. Expansion of airline route map is considered to be the key to the successful development and growth of passenger traffic at Vnukovo.

Vnukovo airfield has two intersecting runways, the capacity of which is 45 operations per hour. Vnukovo airport consists of two terminals: international passenger terminal B with the total area of 25 thousand square meters and a new passenger terminal A with the total area of 270 thousand square meters, 170 thousand square meters of which have been already put into operation.
