OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2012. Aktau will be hosting the annual exhibition, Mangystau Oil, Gas & Infrastructure 2012.

Being held for seven years, this event has become a traditional venue to demonstrate the region’s potential and arrange meetings between professionals of oil, gas, construction and allied industries.

Currently, Mangystau Oblast is experiencing a powerful boost in investment and production, which has a significant effect on the overall economic situation in Kazakhstan. This boost owes to the growth in hydrocarbon production, construction of mainlines and export-oriented oil and gas pipelines, port facilities for cargo storage and transhipment, rail oil loading and gas-filling terminals, and commissioning of new power and telecom facilities.

While reflecting the market, this year’s Mangystau Oil, Gas & Infrastructure also demonstrates a 12% growth in the number of exhibitors.

The Mangystau Oil, Gas & Infrastructure 2012 exhibitors include 91 companies from Italy, Kazakhstan, Romania, and Russia. The exhibiting companies also include 51 direct and 40 distant exhibitors.

Notably, Mangystau Oil, Gas & Infrastructure 2012 will include a roundtable on organisation of production facilities, procurement of goods, services and work for the oil and gas sector of Mangystau Oblast under the Action Plan on implementation of the SME Development Partnership Programme jointly with KazMunaiGas National Company in Zhanaozen.

The main stands will be presented by oil and gas companies and those involved in prospecting and field development, such as KarazhanbasMunai, OzenMunaiGas, MAERSK Oil Kazakhstan, MangystauMunaiGas, and KarakudukMunai.

New developments will be presented by KazMunaiGas E&P’s Engineering Centre.

Russian exhibitors include manufacturers of drill pipes; devices and systems for control, measurement and registration of drilling parameters and well workover; manufacturers of pipeline fittings for oil&gas, chemical and other industries, as well as manufacturers of gas separation systems.

A company from Romania will present its own oil equipment. Filtering equipment, gas filters and filters for liquids will be brought by an exhibitor from Italy.

Part of the exhibition devoted to construction will feature a manufacturer of paints and varnishes, a supplier of road construction machinery, earthmovers and load lifting equipment, diesel power plants, as well as a company which sells building and finishing materials.

Again, Mangystau Oil, Gas & Infrastructure 2012 will be held at the Grand Nur Plaza Hotel & Convention Centre. The exhibition will be open for visitors on 6 and 7 November from 10:00AM till 6:00PM, and on 8 November from 10:00AM till 4:00PM.
