OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2012. JSC Techsnabexport, known globally under the brand name TENEX, will join State Corporation Rosatom’s international business development unit, coming under the management of the corporation’s Deputy Director General Kirill Komarov. Rosatom’s chief Sergey Kiriyenko announced this decision during a meeting with TENEX’s team.

This move, according to Sergey Kiriyenko, was primarily due to the very high professionalism of the TENEX team, which possesses unique competences in selling uranium enrichment services and enriched uranium products in the foreign market. “You have demonstrated amazing results in terms of labour productivity growth rate and in signing new contracts for EUP deliveries to foreign utilities – that is why we have made the decision to develop your company and use it as the platform for the foreign trading house within Rosatom in the front-end of the nuclear fuel cycle,” Rosatom’s Director General stated.

Sergey Kiriyenko gave special thanks for the work of Alexey Grigoriev, who is resigning as TENEX’s General Director but would continue working in the nuclear industry. “Mr Grigoriev has given the company nearly forty years of his professional life, and the successes that TENEX can boast are largely due to him personally,” Kiriyenko said, adding, “I want to thank him for his commitment to the [Soviet Union’s] Minsredmash and Rosatom, and to wish him every success for the future, as he stays to work in the Russian nuclear industry”.

Alexey Grigoriev will take a different job following the expiry of his contract. Lyudmila Zalimskaya, First Deputy General Director of TENEX, will be the Acting General Director of the company.
