OREANDA-NEWS. October 31, 2012. Ukraine has sent to China an application on granting quotas for Ukrainian companies to supply corn next year.

There will soon be signed an agreement with China on phytosanitary requirements for the delivery of this crop. In addition, Ukraine plans to bring into the Chinese market soybeans and oilseed rape. This was announced by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysiazhniuk.

"The Chinese market is very interesting for us, especially in the segment of food and agricultural products. The domestic consumption into this country grows. In particular, Ukraine has a claim on the supplies of technical and forage crops. We’ve almost agreed on all the requirements for the supply of corn to China. There will soon be agreed and signed the agreement on phytosanitary requirements allowing supply the corn to China," Mykola Prysiazhniuk pointed out.
