OREANDA-NEWS. November 1, 2012. Two machining center units and NC lathe machine of Czech production have been assembled on ChTZ site

At the beginning of October one of the “Kovosvit” service managers visited the company and instructed ChTZ engineers and technicians for safe operation of the new equipment. Two additional machining units are planned to be assembled within 2 weeks.

First lots of equipment were supplied for ChTZ by Kovosvit in 2011. 8 engine –assembly units for the production of high-precision components, supplied this year, also have been launched into operational process and presently produce components for T-series engines.

The process of another unit’s mounting soon will be completed on another site of precision components. It is the vertical machining unit, used for simultaneous processing of the workpieces on five different coordinates. Featuring high balancing precision, the new equipment allows performing the most difficult tasks, such as producing impellers for turbo compressors, components for fuel equipment and axle box, supplied by ChTZ to Uralvagonzavod.

This spring the CEO of “Kovosvit MAS” Frantisek Komarek visited the Chelyabinsk plant to discuss with senior management of ChTZ the perspectives of the further cooperation between Russian and Czech companies. It’s planned that supplies of Czech equipment will continue in 2013.
