OREANDA-NEWS. November 01, 2012. Arnas Zalys is appointed as Ukio bankas Board Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He has been working for Ukio bankas since 1998 and till now held the position of the Head of the Finance Service and the Deputy Chairman of the Board. He is taking over the new position from Gintaras Ugianskis who has resigned his post with Ukio bankas for personal reasons, reported the press-centre of Ukio Bankas.

‘I will evaluate future challenges with great responsibility and am ready to successfully respond to them together with the professional team. I, as the new Board Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, will pursue the main activity objectives – to enhance the bank’s profitability and performance efficiency and to improve the quality of assets,’ Arnas Zalys said.

Arnas Zalys got Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree at Kaunas University of Technology and Master’s of Accounting, Finance and Banking degree at Vilnius University. Arnas Zalys has held various positions with Ukio bankas since 1998, and he has been on the Board since 2005.

In addition to Ukio bankas, Ukio bankas Group holds the subsidiaries Ukio banko lizingas, Ukio banko investiciju valdymas, Ukio banko rizikos kapitalo valdymas, Investicinio turto valdymas, Bonum Publicum, Turto valdymo paslaugos, Trade Project, and Eastern Europe Development Fund.
