OREANDA-NEWS. November 02, 2012. As part of the sessions of the Competition Committee of the organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and its Working Groups in Paris (France), Stats-Secretary, Deputy Head of FAS Russia, Andrey Tsarikovskiy, held a meeting with the Chair of ICN Steering Committee, the Chair of the Federal Competition Commission of the United Mexican States, Mr. Eduardo Perez-Motta, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.   

Andrey Tsarikovskiy informed Mr. Motta that in September 2012 FAS had opened its Training-and-Resource Centre in Kazan as the major platform for advancing qualification and retraining officers of FAS Russia and the antimonopoly bodies of the CIS member-states. Mr. Tsarikovskiy outlined the main areas of the Centre’s work, and the heads of the two agencies discussed opportunities for organizing joint events in the Training Centre.

Andrey Tsarikovskiy invited representatives of the Federal Competition Commission of the United Mexican States to take part in the annual training of experts of competition authorities in December at FAS Training-and-Resource Centre in Kazan.

The parties also emphasized effective cooperation between the agencies under the umbrella of international organizations such as ICN and OECD, and expressed readiness to develop and strengthen cooperation between FAS Russia and the Federal Competition Commission of the United Mexican States.
