OREANDA-NEWS. November 2, 2012. Belarus’ gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 2.5% on the year in January-September 2012 to 367.2 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 43.2 billion at the central bank’s exchange rate), an official with Belarus’ National Statistics Committee told.

Industrial output in January-September 2012 increased 7.7% on the year to Br473.9 trillion (around USD 55.8 million).

Farm output rose 5% to Br79.8 trillion (USD 9.4 billion).

In 2011, Belarus’ GDP grew 5.3% on the year to 274.3 trillion Belarusian rubles. Industrial output amounted to 337 trillion rubles, up 9.1% on the year. Farm output increased 6.6% to 56.7 trillion rubles.
