OREANDA-NEWS. November 08, 2012. At the International Management Institute for associations of entrepreneurs Deputy Head of FAS Department for Control over the Authorities, Elena Rybachenko, informed the Heads of the Regional Chambers of Commerce about cooperation of the antimonopoly body with non-governmental organizations, representing the interests of the business community, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

She talked about the FAS scope of reference, mission, and objectives, introduction of ISO 9001 – 2008 quality management system and devising a draft Road Map “Developing Competition and Improving Antimonopoly Policy”.

Ms. Rybachenko paid considerable attention to the work of Competition Council, public advisory councils at regional FAS offices and Expert Councils. Participants expressed interest in continued cooperation with FAS under the framework of the councils and proposed to organize such meetings of representatives of the Regional Chambers of Commerce with experts of the Federal Antimonopoly Service on a regular basis to inform the business community about the plans and the outcome of FAS efforts and the novelties in the antimonopoly law.

“Informing non-governmental organizations of entrepreneurs about the strategy for developing the antimonopoly regulation in Russia is important and mandatory for of FAS cooperation with the civil society that enables to promptly get feedback from citizens and the business community and make balanced decisions”, summarized Elena Rybachenko.
