OREANDA-NEWS. November 09, 2012. In January-September, 2012 average prices agricultural companies sold their products at increased 11.3% as compared with the same period of 2011 in Moldova.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in January-September, 2012 as compared with the same period of the past year prices for plant products grew 8.3% and prices for livestock products increased 19.1% upon average.

The most considerable growth was recorded in prices for sunflower (29.5%) grapes (24.8%) wheat (10.4%). Within January-September, 2012 prices for eggs and cattle and poultry increased 25.7% and 18.7% respectively.

Pork went up 30.9%, beef increased 8.6% and poultry went up 11.6%. Milk prices rose 8.9%. At the same time, prices decreased 69% for potatoes, 7.8% for corn, 5.7% for fruits and berries and 3.4% for vegetables.
