As part of the business plan preparation process, the Board of Directors of TGC-1 gathered for a regular meeting to discuss the production and financial performance indicators expected to be achieved in 2013 and to review the key targets of the investment programme.

In addition, it was decided to elect Yury Marakin, new director for corporate security, to the Management Board of TGC-1.

Yury Marakin was born on November 13, 1960 in Feodosiya.

In 1983, he graduated from Kaliningrad Naval Academy with an Electrical Engineer degree in Missile and Artillery Systems for Surface Ships. In 2011, he got further training in Terrorism Prevention at the Academy of Security and Special Programs.

From 1983 to 2008, he held command posts in the armed forced and security services (KGB, FSB). From 2008 to 2010, he worked in SOLLERS. From 2010 to 2012, he was deputy general director for security in Moscow United Electric Grid Company.
