OREANDA-NEWS. November 13, 2012. The Global Finance (US) magazine hosted its awards ceremony to recognize China's best financial institutions and companies for the year 2012 in Beijing. ICBC emerged as the biggest winner by snapping four major awards, namely, "Best Corporate Bank in China", "Best Credit Card Bank in China". "Best Bond Underwriting Bank in China" and "Best Treasury and Cash Management Bank in China", reported the press-centre of ICBC. 

The Global Finance is a flagship publication well known internationally within its trade, offering information, analysis and solutions to companies, financial institutions and regulatory bodies around the world at this time of continued competitive environment. In view of the surging influence of China's economy, in 2008 the Global Finance started the "Stars of China" awards programme to recognize Chinese financial institutions with outstanding performances in corporate banking, personal banking and cash management business, and Chinese companies engaged in different industry sectors (such as automobiles, electronics, steel) with very good performances.

The judging panel unanimously agreed to present these awards to ICBC in recognition of the Bank's stellar performance, market dominance and excellent innovation on products and services. This marks ICBC's third time running to win the "Best Corporate Bank in China", the "Best Credit Card Bank in China" and "Best Treasury and Cash Management Bank in China" for the second time, and the "Best Bond Underwriting Bank in China", introduced to the Awards programme first time this year.
