OREANDA-NEWS. November 13, 2012. Parallel has invested UAH 3 million to improve the quality control system in 2012.

This year Parallel has invested UAH 3 million in quality control systems for oil products sold at Parallel-branded filling stations. The company spent UAH 2 million to buy the latest mobile lab to control oil products quality and ensure environmental safety as well as advanced equipment for a stationary lab. Maintenance of the equipment during 2012 absorbed another UAH 1 million.

"Our focus is to consistently ensure the high quality of petrol and diesel oil sold in our chain. Doing so, we keep on investing heavily to improve the quality control system of our oil products. Laboratory tests of the fuel quality are a key element in the system," said Parallel CEO Yelena Khiliyenko.

Today Parallel's fuel lab testing system is the biggest and most advanced in Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts. Moreover, the company's laboratory has a certificate of Donetskstandartmetrologiya, a national standardisation and measurement agency in Donetsk. Therefore, the laboratory can be used in the national metrology supervision system.

This October Parallel's laboratory won Ukrainian Product Quality Contest 'Top 100 Products' in the Works and Services category.

Parallel-M Ltd. Today the Parallel chain consists of 115 filling stations with 35 being company's jobbers operating under TM Parallel on contractual terms (20 of Donbassnefteprodukt and 15 of Neftepromtorg retailers).

Parallel also operates under TM Gefest in Zaporozhye Oblast and Crimea (2 filling stations) and PitStop in Donetsk (1 station). Another 13 filling stations of Donbassnefteprodukt (8) and Neftepromtorg (5) sell the fuel of Parallel across their networks.

Parallel-branded stations work in Donetsk, Lugansk, Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye Oblasts.

The authorised capital of Parallel-M LTD is controlled by Parallel Nafta LTD, a subsidiary of the SCM Group. SCM is wholly owned by businessman Rinat Akhmetov.
